Clearcoating Rotor Hats??

Is there such a thing as high temperature clearcoat that can be used on rotor hats. I just hate the oxidized look. Or is painting them the only way about it?

Paint for that area will not last long. Try powdercoating.

VHT

I have read good reviews of the VHT spray on paint (coating). While this is a caliper coating it could be used on the rotor edges and hats to prevent rusting. I purchased two cans through http://www.pjhbrands.com/vht/index.htm There's also a brush on caliper paint call Folia Tec. It is a German brand, a high quality (high price) two part paint. I preferred the spray on choice. You can do an internet search for caliper paint and get lots of advice. We used to be able to search the .org but for (non) members this has since been disabled. Everyone pony up $20.00. Be Safe, Mark V.
