does a cai actually make a big difference?

hi all. i have a 99 se and am looking to install a cai. i currently have a regular weapon r intake in my car. will there actually be a difference in power if i switch over to a cai? please let me know guys, any info is greatly appreciated.

It takes in cooler and more dense air from the fender well instead of hot air from the engine compartment. That means that there is a little bit more oxygen coming into your engine. More Oxygen= More Power. It also lets youe engine take air in easier, and at a faster rate, which also helps with more power.

I'd say go for it...if you're car is an automatic, you can use all the low end you can get. If you're a 5-speed just stick with what you have, a CAI won't make enough of a difference to justify the hasstle of drilling a hole in your car.
