what's the best intake that's quiet?

I'd like to add an intake to my stock 95 GXE 5 speed, one that is still somewhat quiet. Frankencar? Place Racing as intake is in wheel well? Others? Thanks...

if you want your car to be quiet, don't get an intake.

CAI's are loud from outside the car.
short rams are loud from inside the car.

they are all pretty loud at WOT tho.

the quietest would probably be just a popcharger like JWT, without a midpipe (although that it still loud)

my injen is nice and quiet all around until you go WOT.. that reminds me, yesterday i was driving between a truck and a wall at normal speed.. then i punched it to pass the truck in order to get in front of him.. the growl in between the two sounded so much louder than normal made the truck's co-pilot look out the window to see what the hell that was.. hehehe.

P.S. the looks of it under the hood is very nice too.

Intake=Loud

Umm, maybe go with a CAI, it won't be as noticable but your going to hear it. Believe me you will get used to it and love it, I know I do.

no sound change unless you really lean on the gas pedal...then your gonna hear it. Just with normal driving your not going to really hear it at all.
