Having prob changiong spark plugs HELP!!

So I'm changing my sprak plug and for some reason, at my second spark plug, the little rubber thing in the Sparkplug Wrench Attachment stayed on the spark plug after I put the spark plug in so now the coil pack doesn't get in all the way. How could I get the rubber thing back on the attachement?!? I'd really need help some please reply.

Try putting your wrench back down there and twisting it a bit......hopefully it will catch the rubber thing. I had a problem with my extension getting caught down there after i installed the spark plug.

Does anyone know what happens if you overtighten the spark plug or undertighten it? I can't really image it having any impact on spark/ engine performance, just if u overtighten, next time u have to change them it'll probably be very difficult to take out.

Okay I fnally got it out but now, I'm not sure and I hope not but I think the spark plug got in and ate the "filet" I mean the little spiral that when you twist the plug it gets in. I hope this is not the case for God sake! What should I do?

dawn, because of the lack of time I could only change three of them but now, the car doesn't seem to start! I have to hit the gas pedal if I want the car to start!! I first thought that the spark plugs were wrong so I change them back to the old ones but the car still don't start! What's wrong?
