Amsoil OIL filter help needed!! ASAFP

I got the Amsoil oil filter: SDF13

and am wondering if it's the correct one?

It's about 1/2" shorter than the OEM Nissan one?

ANY help will be greatly appreciated...my cars up in the air right now waiting!

Thanks for everyone's help!!

It's VERY odd that a V6 engine should take such a small oil filter?!?!?! Scary actually!

I just put this in the Max:

"In personal cars and light-duty trucks with non-turbocharged gasoline engines: change the oil at 35,000-mile or one-year intervals, whichever comes first."

Are you telling me that you only have to change your oil every 35k or once a year?! Even with a full synthetic, I would never let my car go that many miles on the same oil. Anybody ever let their car go that long on the same oil?

I last changed my oil on May 15, 2002!

No problems, or oil loss of ANY kind!

I as well used the amsoil 0w-30 and change it once a year my mileage was 12k a year did an oil analysis and they said no corrective action needed oil was in great shape very low wear metals and this was after one year and two filter changes. However even though no corrective action was needed I still changed the oil once a year.

WOW! Even so, I don't think I could do it. After several thousand miles I would start freakin out. But your oil analysis speaks for itself! How much per quart?

I just changed my oil this past weekend with 9,229 miles and 1 year on it. I'm about to send in my oil to be tested, so we'll see how the results come back. My last test with 6k Mobil1 was good, and I don't see any reason my Amsoil wouldn't be the same. Here's an email I got from iwannabmw last time I bought my Amsoil
The 5W-30 or the 10W-30 is $4.45/qt, $17.75/gal or $51/12 quart case. There is no minimum order necessary, so if you just needed 5 quarts for the one oil change your best bet would be to buy the gallon and then the quart. The filters for the 4th gen are $10.20. These prices do not include shipping and taxes as that would depend on what you're actual order would be, but shipping would range from a low of $5.55 to almost $12 if you wanted a case. If you know exactly how much you would like to order I can provide you with a more exact amount if you e-mail me back.

Why haven't you e-mailed me your results so that I can integrate them in the spreadsheet?

No, 10W40 is fine. It's a little thicker than the factory fill, but it is absolutely fine.
