front bushing-do poly bushing work?

Had anyone switched their front sway bar and other front suspension bushings to poly from rubber? If so, did you notice such an improvement in handling that it makes the change worth the hassle?

I replaced the swar bar bushings and endlink bushings. Result: stiffer, more communicative steering, less steering wheel vibrations, smoother ride (!), more stable on sweeping curves. The bushings are so easy to swap it can't be even considered a "hassle". The only regret I had is not doing it sooner.

I've replaced my endlink and FSB bushings as well, but I always report the opposite. I feel more steering wheel vibration (Read: connected to the car), especially on uneven pavement. The car feels much better handling wise, and I definitely notice it while autocrossing.

Here's some pictures of the rubber versus poly bushings.

I have a good post somewhere, but since we can't search I can't show it to you

LOL! Guess it's a crap shoot on how my car will react if/when I change bushings.
I was hoping it would handle better, and I would lose some of that nagging vibration at 75-80 mph. Guess all I can do is try. I bought the parts a while ago, but my left needs to be rebuilt, and I've had a heck of a time working on almost anything that requires bending. Maybe I'll call in a few favors.
Thanks for info, guys.
