Best way to shave Rear Emblems?

Hi guys, could you tell me the best way the get rid of MAXIMA emblem on the trunk.
Will hair drier help?

Yeah, use a hair drier to help soften the adhesive and then use fishing line or dental floss to "saw" your way through. Don't forget to use some kind of compound remover to get the rest of the adhsive off. Enjoy

It's kinda funny... I used the dryer to help soften it.. then use the dental floss to "saw" it out... but the stupid thing keeps tearing.. so I suggest use fishing line.. a lot stronger.. make sure you wax afterwards... it will look GREAT!

I also usd a hair dryer . And the get some of the left over sticky stuff i used gas. I wiped it right off after than i waxed the spot well after.

You shouldn't have to use floss or fishing line at all. Heat it up really well with the hair dryer and gently pry the emblems off taking care not to scratch the paint surface. If all goes well it leaves almost no residue.

dental floss will tear with heat
after it ripped twice i used fishing line
and car washing soap with water to get the glue off followed by wax.

Not sure which part of the country you live in, it'll be easier to get the emblem off in warmer weather.

hey if it was cold out couldn't you use an Heating iron the kind you press clothes with and just put them on the emblems untill you could just pull them off? anyone tried this or is this a really stupid idea for some reason?

an iron
emblems are plastic .. one would imagine using an iron would damage the emblem and even the paint of the car itself.
