strange air leak type noise
I am noticing a wierd air leak? type noise coming from somewhere around the throttle body. When I shut the car down, I can hear the noise all by itself for the last split second of shut down. Is this normal? It's really driving me up the wall. COuld this cause loss of power? Is this a normal noise? I don;'t have any other maxima to compare it to. I have not noticed this noise before. I cleaned the TB a few days ago but double checked to see if the hoses taken off were secuely put back on and they are all fine. Is the max supposed to make an airy type sound when it's shut down for the last split second?

Have an Injen intake on a 99 SE and there is also an air leak type of noise near the TB. Disconnected and reconnected all silicone hoses on the intake and it’s definitely NOT coming from one of the Injen intake hoses.
Could it be the airflow around the butterfly making that slight hissing sound when the throttle is applied?
There is also a slight whistling sound from 1500 – 2200 RPM at very light throttle when you’re driving. No whistling if you’re in Park, only when you’re driving. This make it hard to locate the source of the whistling. Is the whistling normal on an Injen intake?
