threadlock on EGT probe?

Can I use threadlock on the thread part of an EGT probe? Let say the EGT probe is mounted on the exhaust manifold. Can the threadlock withstand the heat? Or do I simply just screw the probe in without any sealant? I'm doing this for a friend, and I forgot how I did mine. So I had to ask.

You won't need it... and your right, it won't withstand the 1400+F heat.

You'd be better off using a little anti-seize.
