Hi folks..Just got a 99 Gxe 5 speed.I don t know if the remote entry is standard or just an accessory? I got a remote entry from a 98 max,and tried to program...but no luck.I know how to program it,but the car doesn t act as it should (no flash twice when you insert the key in and out). Now if the remote came as accesory,is there a modeule for the RE,or not ,and eventually,where is located ? Thanks

Im in sorta the same situation. i bought my '99 SE-L used and it didnt come with remote entry. now logically, a SE-L would have come with it.....should it?

if u have "security led" lamp then u have keyless entry...if u don't then u dont...simple as that...

and if you do have keyless entry, you can hold down the button that unlocks the doors, and it will roll down the 2 front windows.... I found that on my 96 Maxima SE by accident........ I was playing with my keyless entry remote and I held the unlock button down... then the windows started rollng down....
