What are the part numbers of the Hella Yellowstars? Where can I order them and what's the price?

Can't remember off the top of my head.
Just do a search and you'll find plenty of info.

If you get the Hella Yellowstars or the Philip WeatherVisions in H3...they will be the 55Watt kind. You WILL NOT achieve that deep yellow look that the Lexus and Infiniti cars have. They use a tinted yellow reflector housing to produce the yellow light...NOT a di-chroic yellow bulb.

In any event, go here for the Hella Yellowstars:

and here for the Philips WeatherVisions:

So what can be done to achieve the yellow look, I remember when I took apart a fog on my uncle's 1993 Lexus LS400, it was a regular bulb with a yellow, glass "condom" on it that was mounted around it.

You can try and mount the condom in the foglight...or you can somehow tint the entire reflective housing yellow.

Getting the Yellowstars or Weathervisions will only throw yellow light...but if you actually care about getting the more useful light...then it won't matter, will it?

I think it was YJ who posted a thread about painting his fog light lenses with translucent yellow paint and getting yellow bulbs. He said by doing this, it gave him that lexus look.

I think that it would be a bad idea... >>

...to paint the lens. Instead, use the translucent paint on the shiny reflector on the inside...this would look a lot cleaner and would not wear off over time.

That definately sounds like a better plan but how do you go by painting the inside? Can you get them apart? Because I belive you can't, and there is only a little hole where you can put the bulb in.
