Well I tried out your instructions on how to keep the low and high beams on except I used one relay (bought 2) cause it had a place for both lights. My only concern was if will damage the bulb because of the heat. I,ll try it out tonight since I plan on driving on back roads for extended time. While I,ve got you, do you suppose that using air filters that require oiling could cause throttle bodies dirty although I know it,s supposed to be an "air filter".

If the one relay has a sufficiently high current rating it should be okay.

I doubt the bulb will be harmed. However, the plastic reflector and plastic lens will be hotter than with the normal wiring. I suggest you run your new "both beams" headlights for five minutes and feel the plastic housing. Do this carefully, as they may be dangerously hot. If they are merely warm, run both beams for another five minutes and perform the "feel" test again. Another potential trouble spot is the plastic electrical connector which contacts the base of the bulb.

In my opinion the answer is yes. I have a factory-stock intake and use the ordinary pleated paper air filter.
