How do I get wires from my engine bay, into my interior compartment?

Installing fog lights, and i need to run wires from the engine bay through the firewall into the interior for the switch. How do I accomplish this? Been trying for a week now and can't figure it out. I found a hole near the drivers side wheel and fed in like 6 feet of wire but it doesn't seem to come out anywhere.
HELP PLEASE!!!

theres like a lil spot near the master cylinder on the firewall that looks like a mickey mouse, it leads into ur compartment.. just drill a lil hole and run wires through it, i did that for my fat a$$ 4-gauge wire that connects to my amp in my trunk.. oh yea if the hole is bigger than the wire than use somethin to cover that part up( i used silicone ), that way no fumes or water can get into the compartment..

That's exactly what I did.

route the wires thru the multiple holes in the engine bay that feed into the wheel welll...look behind the intake on th earea inboard of the strut top and you will see many holes...then feed it into the car thru the rubber grommet in the door hinge area and behind the fuse box for better routing.

I don't believe you have to drill.....there's a precut whole already made in the firewall....its plugged with a rubber stopper thingie. The whole is near the driver side...maybe 2ft from the fender...its near the fuel filter. I used that whole and it goes right into the driver side area up under the pedals more to the center.

hope it helps...i got a 97 max.

On my 96 Max the rubber part that comes off from the inside was there, above where you rest your left foot(automatic). In my car though there was metal behind it so I had to drill a hole.

THe proper term for the rubber thingie is a bung. The hole it is plugging is a bung hole.

i noticed that hole near the brake pedal as well

I think i'm just gonna bite the bullet and get out the drill and go fishing with a wire hanger. It seems like a guess and check operation. Thanks for the help guys i really appreciate it!
I thought there was like a standard way to go about it, but i guess i was wrong as usual. I'll let you know how i end up doing it.
