Royal Purple oil
oil doesn't gain horsepower; if your car has really old, crappy oil and you flush it with synthetic, you may regain lost HP, very maybe...doubtfully. I'm sure people are going to jump down your throat about that one.
Anyway, I am using Royal Purple. It's good so far. 5w30. I asked for more test kits from Blackstone, but no go yet. I have to change my oil again soon, so I'll save some of THAT too (for Bill).

Nothing is wrong with royal purple it's just too expensive.
That's why most here don't use it.
if you want to buy it then do so but you'll soon realize chaning your oil is very expensive. If you can find it cheap then more power to you.

Just make sure your engine doesn't have to many miles on it. My old car had higher miles and I put royal purple in and since the old oil sludge had actually filled in some leaks, the super synthetic royal purple unclogged them and I had oil leaks. Royal purple is good oil, but it is expensive.
