MEVI install parts

I have gotten my vacuum hoses, "T", and I will get my check valve tomorrow. I know where to get my RPM switch, Can someone tell me where to get the Vacuum switch and Vacuum canister? Include part #'s if possible.

check Crannman's group deal thread..

Deezo has an alternative Vacuum switch from a GM Turbo since the Dawes and Nissan ones are so hard to fine.

i also remember hearing someone said they got all their parts off the VG Maxima.

You can get the map/baro switch (also called 3 way solenoid) off almost any vehicle you find in a junkyard. Common ones to look at are almost all nissans, mazda mx6, 626, ford probe, mazda mx3, etc. Literally almost any car you find in a junkyard will have at least one. The mazda ones have some in very accessible spots. Right on top and on the sides of the intake manifold. The vacuum canister part number is on iansw's website, or you can just go to any parts store and say you need a vacuum canister.

yes as S-10 has one, and since it is on a domestic vehicle, I bet they are pretty cheap. I'll post the part # as soon as I get it out of the truck.

It might be the same one posted from GM. I'll post the part number soon.

it is a 2 wire version, so it will require a relay, but that is no problem. All I need now is a suitable vacuum canister (no parts houses arounf here have one) and my RPM switch.

I found a very nice vacuum canister at NAPA. It is made of rugged plastic, it's spherical (perfect shape for a vaccum or pressure vessel, not that it really matters in this case) and it has a built in check valve. I mounted it on the wheel well underneath the battery tray.
