Looking at a used Max

Is there a site where I can get the specs on the Max engine? Specifically, I want to know if the 4th gen V6 uses a timing belt or timing chain. What should I look for when looking at a used 4th gen?

TIA,
Ben

I'm not even considering automatics. I will never own an automatic. I hate driving them. I've found a couple of higher mileage Maximas and I just wanted to se if I'd be in for a timing belt change or what. I currently have a '93NX and the SR20DE uses a timing chain, so I don't have to worry about it. I'm also looking at 5-spd G20's.

He not getting mine! OR ANY OF YOU! :P from 0-90,000 Ive loved every mile with the 5-speed. Autos are just boring, ive put maybe 5,000 on our Durango, and hated every moment. Waiting for the **** *** auto to downshift and not making power... grrr

And finally - the answer to his question is: (drumroll please) - Timing Chain. All 4th Gen (And 5th Gen and 6th Gen) use timing chains which are usullly maintenence free.

Thanks! Now I feel much better about the higher mileage Maximas.
