Has anybody installed the 95-96 foglights themselves? IF YOU HAVE, how did you cut the bumper? Was it a hard process to install the foglights? How did you put in the new stalk and take out the old one? I'm afraid of installing the foglights myself. I NEED YOUR HELP EVERYONE!!!!!

I installed mine myself. It was not too hard to do, just took my time. If you get the fog light kit it comes with instructions. I used a dremmel to cut the bumper following the template supplied. The stalk was not difficult to install either. Just take your time and follow the directions.

You can cut the holes out with a sharp knife. The bumper is soft, a knife will cut them out like they where butter. The electrical harnesses should be taped up underneath the actual bumper (metal) towrds the top of the holes.

Hey thanks for the info... But is there a way to check without cutting through the bumper first?

I think if you look under the bumper at the corners where the fog lamps actually will be, you should see the wiring hanging down that you need to plug into. I think that most or all Maximas come prewired but not totally sure on that.

Where can you purchase the fog light kit from for a 97-99?

I need these so my max can look at night!

Where did you get your kit, and how much did it cost you.

There was a group deal a few months ago by Jerry Rome Nissan. It was for $200 shipped. The price was OK but I think it was better a few years ago on the kits. I think at the time of the group deal they claimed it cost them about $175 for them to get the kit from Nissan. Many have posted that they had bought the kit for quite a bit less in the past.

Oh yah that's right, the 97 and up fog light kits are less than the 95/96 kits. I think that the 97 and up have plastic lens instead of glass ones in the 95/96.
