No power in R or 1st gear - Is my transmission screwed?

Back to engine choking and dying on me this morning. Then, even when the engine was warmed up, there was no power in either reverse or 1st gear. I would step on the accelerator, and the RPMs wouldn't even go up in R or 1. RPMs did go up in D and 2nd gear though. Check engine light came on today as well, but code 0505 = No Failure Recorded/Detected

Argh!!!!! Any clue to what's wrong?

I took apart my throttle body yesterday and thoroughly cleaned it. I also found two loose hoses that I plugged back in. Then I took it out for a ride yesterday, and it ran VERY smoothly. Could I have possibly screwed up and reversed the two electrical connectors that connect to the throttle body? Needless to say, the car is frustrating to me right now! Wasn't able to drive it to work today.

From your description, tranny is not shot, if it was the RPMS would go up and the car would not move...you might wanna check your throttle cable and the attachments to the throttle body, maybe you missed/messed something!
