Well i went back and decided to take care of the back sagging. I went and took some more off the front springs. Now I'm happy with the looks. It looks awesome, and it looks MUCH lower in person than in these pics.

The ride is not too desireable. These Tokico's just can't handle the rebound like Maxed-Bandit's Koni's + Cut Eibachs. I feel with Koni's this ride would be great. Anyways, the ride is great on 90% of the surfaces. It has a tendency to do the sea sick bounce/roll thing over large humps or quick drop offs. Normal roads are fine though.

Again, I stress that the car looks MUCH lower in person. It looks totally slammed.

My car looks like that too. Looks like two finger clearance from the rim down to the top of the tire. With the Konis the ride is firm even on the softest setting. It'll eliminate that rebound bounce you're describing.

Yeah Dennis I just wanted to get mine even in the front. i jsut got the front cuit 1/4 coil. It was kinda saggin. yeah Greddy sounds PHAT!

I have basically a two finger gap all the way around. I have two very skinny fingers too. Porlly 1.5 of a normal finger.

I got ST's and Tokicos

Damn Kid!! your car looks HOTT... I think i might get my front springs cut 1/2 a coil. My front sits higher than the back by almost a 1/2". A body kit might give you a little problem with ground clearance, but i say leave it be. Looks very nice!! Good Job

Haha VQRacer.

Yeah I like it as is, dunno if I'm going with a kit or not yet, but I definately won't do it before next fall, so in the mean time it'll be worth it I think.

If you knew what you know now what type of setup would you have done Brian? I was thinking about a Koni/Suspension Techniques setup, but I do want my car to be even in front and back. I'd prefer not to cut my springs, but if thats what it takes to make my car even I guess so be it

Hmm if I knew everything I knew now, I would definately get Koni's. I would either cut the springs or get GC's. There just isn't any spring that gets the car low enough, except the new sprints. I might give sprint + koni a try if I were to do it again.

BrianV, I like the taillights

I was wondering what kind of clear plastic you used. I bought a sheet at Home Depot in the lighting section. It's supposed to be for Florescent light covers, but mine doesn't match the reverse light side as well as yours do. I was wondering where you got yours. It's bugging me enough to redo it. thanks

Hmm I got the same thing at my local Home Depot. Cost like $4.99 for the sheet.

My ride is ok, bounces over large humps, but that's it. I now feel what people talk about when they say Tokicos get soft. Dennis's Konis felt HELLA good. Stiff and all, but they didn't bounce. The ride felt very firm. Like how a vette feels.

So far I haven't scraped or bottomed out on anything yet, adn I've had three people in my car.

LOL!!! You guys are funny...never heard of ICQ huh? Is this how all those guys get their 1000's of posts? It's not that hard. And I'm still up because there is less traffic on the forums during these hours and I can read and respond without it crashing every other message. But it's all good to the moderator!! I know maintaining this stuff is hard work, and I appreciate it!!
