My car is getting sprayed today, black with a red pearl in it, my friend Josh who is on here somewhere got his back yesterday and it is white with a diamond and blue pearl and his looks unreal. Put pics up soon.

 

Whats the total cost to you and time it took the body shop? Do you know the people well there?

 

Well my total cost is yet to be determined because my car got a hit and run at a friends apartment about 4 weeks ago and that was about $3k on the back of the car, then 2 weeks later I got hit agian on the front passenger side which did $3k to the front of the car so I will only end up paying about 1k-1500k for the paint job because of dents and stuff like that. My buddy Josh, his is going to run him about $2500 because the body guy had to pull 63 dings out of it that they found once the car was blocksanded. I will have pictures of both accidents that my car was in and some pictures of the car striped and painted probably later tonight or tomorrow

and i always thought my car had lots of dings! $1500 still isn't bad for the full paint if thats what it ends up costing you. Are they sanding, priming, painting, and clear coating? Is the shop giving you a special deal because you know them or is this a normal price?

 

getting a little bit of a deal but not much, he just took how much paint work he was putting in to the two accidents that were covered on insurance and subtracted it from what i had to pay

Well here's my situation now, my car was suppose to be black with a red pearl and the guy screwed up and now my car is burgandy with a black pearl, pics will have to wait because i might have to get a lawyer to get the guy to fix what he did
