Wierd Smell

Wierd Smell

Everytime i push my 95' maxima into like a high rpm such as 4-5 or right next to redline, It develops a sort of burning smell.. (like rubber but BAD!) Intoxicating smell... I can be in nuetral or reverse and do it and it smells up... is this normal? What is it? Any ideas would be great.

stinky smell

not sure, but if you have a 5spd it might be the clutch burning. i had the same problem, but just go easy on the clutch for a while and it will eventually air out.
