I don't mean to take your thunder, but i'm having the same exact problem. I changed the battery, starter, and still am having problems starting the car. WTF?? The cel is throwing out the same two codes also.

it was doing the same thing prior to the codes being thrown.. what year to u have ,
mine is a 95 se with 90k

i did the fuel filter.. i was thinking that maybe the fuel line is not holding pressure.. causing the engine to starve. but the damn thing runs like a Top when i finially get it running.. i got the two upstream o2 sensors for the hell of it.. should have them installed in a week or two..
lets get through this together. with hopefully less money spent..

There are 2 crank shaft sensors. POS and REF.

REF is located just below the crank pully.
POS is located on the bell housing under the car. You may have to take off the lower splash shield to gain access to it.

that is right.

on a different note, i had the same problem. my car would crank till the battery died, but would never start- once it was running, thing ran like a champ , no problems though !!

i swapped the sensors, no help. temp sensors too. no good.

my fix was this. took my tranny off, cleaned where it mates to the motor. reinstalled. starts like a champ (unless my Park/Neutral switch goes loose then it wont even turn over grrr!)

Removing the tranny, cleaning the mating points and reinstalling is a lot of work - Why did it help? What was wrong? Did you do it yourself? How many hours?
