Frankencar - Are they screwing me?

I ordered an intake from Frankencar about 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard **** from them despite having emailed them twice. I have the Paypal reciept and that's it. I have no problem if their turnaround time is a little slow, but right now I'm wondering if they're just ****ing me. I don't want to say anything bad about them yet, but it would be nice to at least have my emails returned with something like "we're working on it"...that's all I'm looking for is a sign that they're alive and planning to give me my $150 intake some time within the next couple weeks. I realize that they're just a small operation, but just ANSWER MY EMAILS...

Are they screwing me? Should I start calling them? Should I take it up with paypal...I'd probably give them at least one more week before I thought about that...

If you have Instant messenger or AOL then you can contact DMBHalloween88. He works at Frankencar. He is on right now.

Heh, you'll get your intake soon enough. At least you didn't have to wait a couple of months unlike other people on this website.

Ahhh....okay so it sounds like they're just really slow (don't have AIM). I have no problem if they're really slow (although it would be nice to get it soon), I just want to make sure everything is cool.

Thanks guys. I'm not upset with them at all if they're just backed up, so I'll give them another week or so and then give them a call. Basically I just posted here to see whether they tended to have a slow turnaround time or not. Since you guys seem to be saying that they are slow to fill orders, that's fine, and I'll give them all the time they need.

Big thanks for the info.

Call the number on the web site.
One number is for their cell phone.
When they did the group deal, it took months for people to get their pipes.
They ignored my calls and e-mail too. I had to call them on their cells a few times to get answers.

Update: I just got an email from Scott saying that he had been away and that they had been waiting fo some parts or something. He says that the intake should be shipping today or tomorrow. All I was waiting for was some kind of response, so I am satisfied. Thanks again!
