I will be doing my 5speed conversion next week, and I would like to get a 5speed ECU from a 1995 SE Fed-Spec. Currently, car-part, has a slew of them ranging from $65-$200. I've noticed there are serveral types issued ranging from June - Dec of 1995. My car is dated Feb, 1995 and it's a GLE. Would there be issues if I'd gotton a Fed-spec 5spd ECU from late Dec of 1995??? Or should I get one ranging close to my manufactures date???
I was under the impression that these ECU'S are all the same.. As long as you stick to your Model Year??? I'm just being a bit cautious. Thanks.

Are you searching for parts on a 95 Maxima? A lot of the 95 Maximas have ECUs from 1994 seeing that the 95s were actually built in 1994. Looking at Car-part.com and according to your cars build date (2/95), you'd need the "from 12/94 SE, MT, Fed" ECU.

Yeah, I was looking for 95's. I will get the 12/94 SE, MT Fed.
