When I go over small bumps and potholes I hear like this rattle from the bottom of the car like something is shaking or loose? What method should I use to go about finding the source of the problem?

go under there and shake stuff and try to figure it out? of course when it's cooled down, you don't want to burn your hand. my exhaust hits my addco sway bar so i need to move the brackets. check that maybe? g'luck

I had that problem too a while ago. It turned out to be a clamp or hanger next to the flexpipe on the exhaust. It was broken and just loosely hanging there, and when I went over bumps it would bounce up and hit the underside of my car. The flexpipe is the part that has a weaving or braided pattern to it. I would check this first. It is a cheap part, maybe you wouldn't even have to replace it, just take it off. Might want to check w/ others before you just take it off and not put a new one on.

Is it your B pipe hitting that bolted crossmember on in the rear?
