Which 5 Speed Aftermarket Parts Should I Get??
I am all set up to do a 5 speed swap. I found a good place that can get the parts and do the swap (I have no garage room or time)
So here's what I want to know. What should I get to replace the stock 5spd tranny parts and from where?
Clutch? Flywheel? Shifter? Anything else?
What brands should I get? Who offers them? What do people have installed?
Man, I wish search worked...

Hi,
depending upon your future plans for the car and what you want the car for... I would go ahead and put an ACT Street (nm1-hdmm) clutch kit in there now (if you plan to add boost, etc you will almost have to do this) (under 300$)
also if you want a short shifter, now is the time too - since you are installing that anyways (under 100$)
flywheel I personally, from experience don't think are worth the high price tag.. but thats up to you
Get new factory master and slave cylinders when doing the conversion as these are recommended to be replaced every I believe 60k and are prone to leaking which is verry annoying, also maybe get the hydrolic rubber hose as it also is prone to leaking (i just started to fight this prob and got another one now) the total for these two parts are maybe 125$ ?
This is all I can think of at this moment. hope it helped. of course I am sure you have seen instructions link
goodluck let me know if i can be of any help (email)

I got a fidanza flywheel, centerforce clutch(bad idea but i didnt pick it out), and a b&m sts. I love everything except for the clutch, but i am gonna change it to an act disk with the heavy duty centerforce pressureplate and everything should be fine. Email me with any questions.

I have a turbo/intercooler setup ready Yes, it's HLH! - so yes, this will be a definite stip/street performance setup. I'm not wanting to set any records... I have too mch AV stuff to be competitive.
So here's the rundown so far:
1> ACT Street (nm1-hdmm) clutch kit ~$300
2> B&M Short Throw Shifter ~$100
3> Aluminum / performance flywheel ~$500 (Fidanza?? ANYONE??)
4> New factory master & slave cylinders / hydrolic rubber hose ~$125
Any others?
