M3 v.s. maxima v.s. accord V6 tonite.

i jus got back from b-ball and i jus wanna share my first "semi-street-race" with everyone... it was 1:00a.m. and me and my other friend who drives an old m3 5-spd (i belive it's about 250 HP) and an accord 95 V6 auto (170). the m3 was stock, accord had weapon r intake, FSTB, rsb, maxspeed drop, and tires.

it was a straight run and i only WOT the 1st gear and immidiately i pulled 1 car length for both car... i know FOR SURE the m3 didn't WOT and i know FOR SURE the accord WOT every single his gear (cuz he's like tat). anywayZ the M3 dropped out on third gear and watched me and accord's tail... i only went 5,000rpm on 2nd, and i didn't expect his V6 gonna pull on me so close (1/2 car length)... so i lagged from 3rd back to 2nd then lagged back to 3rd (VERY VERY BAD), but i still beat him at the end with 1/2 car length.

i really wish he WOT it... i wonder how my max will run against his stock 5pd, or how bad i will lose thx for listening.

you should have beaten the accord by bigger margins, your altezzas slowed you down.

NIce kill man. I raced my friend with his stock 2000 V6 accord. This was when I had my stock 95 gxe auto. Anyway, he beat me pretty bad from 20-70mph. He had like 2 cars on me and he had his gf with him in the car. I was alone.

I should be able to take him easily now with my 96 SE 5speed and intake. ypipe in the mail!

You'll probably get smoked since he is rear wheel drive, try to get him to go with you from a roll.

If he doesn't and wants to take off from a stop hold down the brake so your car doesn't move, take the Rpm's up to 1800-2200 (depending on what kind of tires you have) then let off from the brake and put the pedal through the floor.

If he say's OK we can go from a roll your best bet is from a 30 punch, get going 30, drop into first and floor it.

If he wants to go from a faster roll 55-60 is a good punch to do the above in second, this is probably what you want as your least desirable option in this instance.

This is the best you can do, that M3 is going to eat you up but it should be fun and good luck.

If you and the M3 are both stock he'll own you. If you have a considerable amount of mods like full exhaust, intake, MEVI then you'll probably be about even with him. But if he has any mod then bye bye Maxima.

You'll own the Accord any day though.

it really doesn't take a good driver when you have 40 more ft lb's of torque and 50 more hp.

....and whoever said going from a roll is better.....um yeah read up on the E36 ZF trannie....yeah your gonna get raped either way.
