Good by 4th gen forum
Well a sad day has come and gone, and happier days are ahead.
I sold my red 99 se limited, and it arrived in North Carolina last week to the home of her new owner.
I picked up my 2004 Radiant Ember ( yes orange) SE Maxima yesterday.
Sunroof, Elite, VDC. in other words loaded..
I will be posting on the 6th gen forum, as well as the general froum from time to time...
I will alwayse help my fellow maxima buddies with anything i can.
remember i was an owner and maxima fanatic BEFORE i sold Nissan's
I am loving this car... will post pics soon. keep a look out for my new homepage...
Hope to see all the long Island Maxima's at Bald Hill Cruise nights tuesday at Bald Hill starting in May..

4 door sports car
I needed the room, i have a four door sports car...
The Z will be in the driveway soon enough.
I am waiting for the Roadster...

Do you get a discount on Nissans? How much?
What shady things can you tell us about the mechanics that work at your shop.
Sorry to see you go, enjoy the car. Did you by any chance run the new 04 against your 99, surely you were curious?

I can tell you that the Auto stick in the 04 would have killed my 99 5 speed in any gear...
the 2003 altima SE i was driving for awhile would of killed me too...
the fouth gen 5 speed was fast, but the 2004 will be faster by far..
I'll kee p you posted about the performance upgrades we add along the way...

J/K check about a new intake manifold, I noticed on the 6th gen that it splits or is crimped (however you want to say it) close to the throttle body, I checked on the Z and it was not this way. Good luck and enjoy the new car. How many miles was on it when you bought it, I hope it wasn't one you guy's took out to see how fast it was right when it rolled off the truck.
