A strange smell coming from the rear driver side wheel, (probably from the brakes). I hear no squeeking noises or anything, just strange burning smell. Any Idea what this could be?

 

yeh im gettin the same exact thing from the same place. im thinking that the brake could be sticking causing that burning rubber smell. im going to try jacking up the car and spinning the tires and see if that tells me anything. anyone else have any ideas what this could be?

 

Yes that's what i was thinking that the pads might be sticking close causing it to burn? I just bought this car from a dealership, so i got 30 days to take it back and fix it, since its part of safety =)

but the smell is strange
