Check my sig. You're lights will come on with the corner (next to headlight) lamp, and the side bumper lights.

Click the pictures for a larger version.

All fourth gens are wired the same for this. I used the original maxima FAQs as the directions, and then took pictures for easier understanding.

The original directions were written based off a 95, and they worked perfectly on my car. Many other 4th gen users have used my How-to and haven't had any problems.

Sorry but, what's the point of doing this? I dont understand it. I mean, yeah, it looks cool with the parking lights on, but so what? Does anyone just leave their parking lights on? Someone please explain this to me.

Everyone wants a little personality in their ride man. Like the reason I did a custom bumper bulb setup on my homepage. Just so I can be different.

same reason you bought altezas, you liked how it looked. and lots of people leave their parking lights on. think of how bad *** it is when a vette comes up on you with just those low to the ground amber lights on, unmistakable

Nope, it's not illegal. BMWs have the ability from the factory, and for that matter so do PT cruisers.

This also lets you keep your fogs on with your high beams.

if you're rollin' up on somebody with just the fogs on is coo, but driving at night with fogs only is dumb.

i have two questions, one: how to rewire the drinving lights to come on with parking lights, and two: the service engine soon light is on , ihad the codes checked and it says the evap system has a leak and evap system problem. i wanted to know if this is common and what i could do to fix. i have a 98 se model with minor mods. thanks sam l.

1. You want your driving lights to come on with your parking lights? Please clarify what you mean by driving lights and parking lights. Use something like headlights, bumper lights, and corner lights; it makes it easier to understand.

2. Search for EVAP. Usually it's the purge valve. Behind the driver's side rear tire there is a black box. This is the vapor canister, and attached to that is the Purge valve. You can try cleaning this valve with something like WD-40 or liquid wrench to free it up, or you can replace it. I cleaned it, but three months later the CEL came on again, so now I'm replacing it (about $45).

What i was talking about was being able to turn the driving lights on with out having to have the headlights on, but after i sent the prior email i found the instructions an it works perfectley. Also thanks for the info on the evap system, i plan on doing what you said soon. thanks again Sam L.
