I know the bottom is held down by a ziptie, but should the top be able to move about on the strut or not? Reason I'm asking is because the upper hole on mine is so tight that it cannot go past 1" down on the shaft of the strut (not including/past the threading for the nut).

Basically I'm asking if the bumpstop can move up and down on your struts.
