Short throw shifter from EBAY

Hey all, i bought a short throw shifter off Ebay (polish). I never had one before and thought about installing it myself. Any tips or ideas? I just hope i didnt get the shaft by buying a cheap ($20) shifter that doesnt work right or needs other parts in order to work. Thanks!

I got mine from e-bay and it did not come with the bolt to connect it to the linkage. The stock bolt was too big around. Oh yeah be careful with the rubber boot on the joint.

Hope it works out for you. I wouldnt trust a 20 dollar shifter.

it might snapp off like mine... just be careful shifting. not too hard. i had a cheap ebay one and a stillen one, they both snapped off but the stillen one lasted much longer... i want one made of steel billet next time. aluminum sucks... will prolly get the b&M, its like $130 but heard nothing but good things about it.

I installed mines yesterday and i had to get a diffrent bolt, the hardest part of the hole job is getting the cat bolts off cause they are so rusted together. There is nothing better about the other shifters exept brand name and price, the b&m is also aluminum. And i like this mob alot , the throw is almost with a flick of a wrist but its still like 50% shorter.

And dont forget to bang the top heat shield for clearance.
