Bad Injectors?

My '95 maxima hesitates to start when the tank is about 1/4 full. It has 145,000 miles. Could this be the start of a injector problem? Fuel lines? Fuel pump? Any information would be helpful before I go get it checked out by my mechanic.

thanks

I doubt its the injectors, because the see the same pressure(s) regardless of the level in the take. If they aren't seeing the correct fuel pressure it could be the pump.

Most people will suggest changing the fuel filter, but again, that would have nothing to do with your starting problems with less gas.

Maybe the pickup for the fuel pump is clogged/jammed/etc.?
