Clifford makes some of the best alarms.

Definitely get one with shock sensors all around, that pager thing so you know when it goes off, and a loud siren. Alarm is the best 'mod' you can buy for your car. I'm in a debate between it and a V1 (which is better). I have a Clifford, but a ****ty one. Came with the car, probably will upgrade when I get some benjamins.

I like my DEI sidewinder 6500 velet system and i can add as meny features to it when ever i want

it has alarm keyless entry and remote start. i can add window control, trunk release, paging system anything that DEI sells i can add it

had it on my car for 2 years now and never had a problem now that i am moding my car i am ordering a louder siren (or a second one) and a paging relay for it.

You can always add a shock sensor to your existing factory alarm. For directions go to www.vqpower.com under the how 2's. This is what I am going to be doing.

The best alarms out there are the Alpine alarms, SEC150R, but if you want to be able to add remote start stay with a Viper. Clifford is too unreliable. Their brains are to high tech to deal with a car environment. We have lots of problems with them at our shop. The remotes become unprogrammed to the alarm all the time. The Alpine is a bargain and is all I will ever own. I have been an installer for 10 years and I have seen just about everything.
