sidemarker bulbs

I put a blue sidemarker bulb on the passenger side, all works fine.

I try the driver's side. The bulb isn't on. I wiggle it a bit.. it flickers on then quickly off again. Essentially the driver's door is saying NO to me..

i tried switching bulbs.. both of em are fine b/c i swapped em on the passenger's door

any clue whats up?

first offf.....
blue lights on the outside of ur car are a BIG NONO... you will get a ticket right when u leave the driveway,,
but if u still wanna do it..

look at the socket, are the metals things clean?
is it rusted?

if its kinda dirty and ugly lookin, go buy a new one.. doesnt cost much..
then that should cure it

the bulb might not be making contact with the metal tabs, try to bend them slightly to a closed position.

i swapped bulbs (stock and new ones), and they all work in the passenger's side, not driver's side.

i swapped the mounts where the bulbs plug in to.. and still only the passenger's side works.

wiggling the bulb around, tightening the metal contacts, cleaning the metal contacts... all of this and still nothing.

argh.. any idea?

well, the only thing i can think of is using a test light to see if u have juice, and checking your fuses
