Intakes - general consensus

From researching on the forum, the conclusion that I have come to, for intakes is the following:

Best combo: frankencar midpipe + JWT pop charger

This seems to give people the most power out of any of the other combinations. Am I correct in my assessment here, or have I looked anything over?

Thanks.

Give me a week and I'll tell you how I feel. I bought a JWT popcharger and a BOMZ Cold air intake mid-pipe section, its identical to the frankencar and was a lot cheaper for just the pipe. Its probably the most beneficial combo out there for intakes, but we're still talking low single digit horse power gains, maybe high single digits when a Y-pipe is alread on the car.

I feel that there really cant be a general consensus on intakes. Everyone has different opionins. Some people swear that the CAI feels much better than a popcharger. And some people just the opposite. Hybrid intakes seem to be getting more and more popular though. Bascily they all give you the same power gains, just at different RPM ranges. One thing to keep in mind though is that most of the fastest maximas are running just a JWT popcharger. Does this tell you anything really? no, but its just something to keep in mind.

IMO it gives the best power gains. Alot of people have different opinions on this one. It has a VERY nice sound to it though.
