I am getting a 10 08 code from my ECU... I know thats the code for the EVAP volume control valve, and I am replacing that today.... I also have to get an emission test on my car today as well.... I know the test place is coing to do the OBD test on my car.. My question is this.... After I do the repair on my car, and I reset the CEL, does the ECU store the code or is it erased?

 

Using the screw on the side of the ECU to turn off the check engine light clears all the error codes. You'll be just fine for inspection as long as everything else is in order.
