everything is going to hell! first transmission went out, got a new trans, it went out, getting original rebuilt now. Then it pours white smoke under cold starts, I just found a motor with 1k miles so I bought it to install when my tranny is done. Now I need my car to hold out for about two weeks, and what happens? My clutch is loosing hydrolic pressure. First time it works great, then the more I use it, it gets softer and softer until it does not engage at all. What is this? any ideas? Please tell me this is some simple leak that I can easily fix in the morning.

do you power shift, that can often lead to the clutch becoming soft and eaten away at.

 

it is fuked. just looked at it this morning and I have fluid leaking from where the transmission meets the engine. which I assume is input bearings. what damn luck.the carwill bearly even move now.
Like I needed something else to have to spend money on.
