I will try to keep this as short as possible. Over the weekend my car was towed, after getting the car back, I found it would not start. I did a few different things jump, battery cables, etc. then finally jiggled the shifter to hear it click into park and the ride started. Now it has excess play in the shifter, and the car does not always go into park easily as it should, causing the same starting problem. Anybody have any experience with such a linkage problem/advice?
