Chasis Lube?

Chasis Lube?

What does a "chasis lube" consist of? Places that change oil claim to do this, but I don't know what they lubricate or what they use.

Door hinges & latches, maybe the hood hinges and latch too.

It's from the old days when cars were actually bodies perched on frames. There is no "chassis lube" on a unibody car like the Maxima. It's BS.

Basically they'll lube the hinges of your doors, hood, and trunk. If the suspension had greasable balljoints or the like it would include that too, but we don't.

what type of lube should I use on the door and hood hinges and latches?
