More ECU questions....
More ECU questions....
Would a bad ECU cause a 1996 nissan Maxima to idle low and be very hard to start? My car is idling very low and when I went to start it just a little while ago, the starter acted like it wasnt getting enough power from the battery...... The check engine light didnt come on when I turned on the ignigtion, but it lit up once I got the car started... Im about to take it to Auto Zone and have them try to pull codes from the ECU, and also test my battery and alternator...
Any help would be wonderful

Re: More ECU questions....
Clean your throttle body. Take your intake system apart and get to the throttle body. Get some TB cleaner, a toothbrush and a cloth. Follow the instructions on the can and clean away. make sure you open the throttle plate and clean behind it.
