please read and help me out

when starting my car to go to work, I took the hand brake off, but the brake light stayed on, also the battery light stayed on. When I go over 3000 rpm both lights go off but when my auto tranny shifts to under 3000 rpms those two damn lights come back on. later that night the alpine suddenly went off and the car started to studder. I got a new battery, figuring that that would solve the light situation but NO, the lights are still on. I'm thinking maybe an electrical problem. Please give me some info.

thank you

peace

Almost 100% sure that it's either the altenator or it's belt.

Yes this is what i think too. If you have a multimeter start your car and look if he charge. It's suppose tu be like 14 volts. If you don't know anything about that go to a garage.
