I think your using a clutch pedal instead of the break pedal...the break pedal for AE edition doesn't look like a clutch pedal, it's twice as wide.
For auto Maximas, how are you suppose to install the dead pedal, you can buy the 350z dead pedal for pretty cheap, any installation tutorials?

(these aren't mine) they look even better on a black interior I think.

Mention the org and he'll give you a discount. If you have a manual and want all 4 pedals it will be $79.88 (that's what he quoted me atleast - I haven't ordered them yet).

I like the OBX Type-R pedals. There is going to be a group deal on these pedals for $24 shipped. Look for the GD to be held this week or next week.

i paid like $54 for a set of LEVOC (gas, brake, dead pedals) and they are hook the hook.. i heard nothing but compliments.
on my previous ride (eclipse), i had a set of cheap black/silver(plastic) pedals and they looked ok but the levoc are worth the $$...
LEVOC all the way..

i don't know about your 95. but in my 99 there is a piece of material where the dead pedal goes.. it's a rubberized rough black piece where you place your foot on.. i just simply took the dead pedal and placed a couple of long strips of the spongy 3M double stick tape along the sides. then i stuck the pedal to that black rubber-like pedal.. i didn't cut or remove any of the carpeting.
good luck.
good luck.

BOZOnPJs, thanks for getting back to me. My 95 also has a rubber/plastic footrest (which happened to have fallen off. I think ill try to glue that back and have that attach to the dead pedal.
For the 20th Anniversary pedal set, you'll have to trip down the black dead pedal housing or else your pedal will stand up at 90 degrees. Perfect if you have a peg leg
The Brake pedal is just a direct replacement of the one you have on the car now. As someone posted previously, running it under some warm water will soften the rubber a bit and makeit easier to install.
The gas Pedal will need some modification. I recommend ordering the mounting clip with the pedal set if possible. Otherwise, you'll need to take the mounting clip on the top of the pedal from your current pedal. Should fit fine. The lower "L" portion of the gas pedal will need to be made thicker in order to fit snuggly into the pedal. Apparantly the Pedal was made to fit a thicker arm than what was used in the 4th gens. Electrical tape or a rubber washers will do the trick.
I will have time this weekend to install the dead pedal. I'll dremel the frame down a bit and use double sided 3m sticky tape to mount... wish me luck
p.s. dont apply too much pressure to the dead pedal. its a thin metal cover that will bend. i can see it happening already with some of you with lead foots (like me)

Has anyone drilled the dead pedal down? Is there anything I should worry about drilling through under the carpeting? Im thinking about getting these pedals...

for those of you who care about the installation of the Anniversary Edition dead pedal
I received and installed them on saturday. . . the gas and the break pedals were a piece of cake but the dead pedal was a ***** to install. . . i didn't want to just put the medal part of the pedal and 3m it to the carpet, and since the dead pedal came with a whole bracket it took me over an hour to get it to the point where i wanted it. . .
i basically cut most of the bracket off and just left the top part of it where it is attached to the medal part. . . i grinded everything behind it down with a grinder and put the screws back in. . . i had to grind down the back of the screws also. . . then i put a coat of glue on the back of the cut bracket to make the surface nice and smooth and afterwards i applied 3 coats of 3m double stick tape. . . then i just taped it to the carpet where the dead pedal is supposed to go. . . it came out nice because it looks like the whole bracket with the pedal is actually screwed to the carpet. . . . i was going to snap some pics on sunday but my car got impounded on saturday night and i just picked it up not too long ago. . . will snap picks tonight and i'll post some pics. . .

I didnt have to use boiling water, hot water from the tap worked for me just fine. My $.02 could save u up to 3-4 mins depending on ur elevation, also a nasty scolding form boiling water OUCH.
