The one i ordered off of ebay didnt work so well. It wasnt a genuine liquid leather kit. What i had to do was apply some of the colored goo and place a grain paper over it and use a heat tool to make it harden. Half of it sticked to the paper and the other half to the panel. I tried a couple more times, but i gave up. Im going to order the genuine one that doesnt require any heat or special tools. I found an as seen on tv retail website. Ill let you know how that one goes.

I bought and tried to use a leather repair kit that requires the user to mix the color to match the upholtery. It was impossible to match my tan interior though. I tried and tried, but gave up and never tried to apply it. If you have a black interior, it should match well, since the kit has black already mixed.

Now I need to patch my passenger seat. My cell phone overheated while charging, and cooked the passenger seat enough to make a 1"x2" area of the top color coat to begin to peel off.

So, if anyone has had luck with a leather repair kit, please let us all know.

My interior is black, so i didn't have to match the color. My repair kit should come in a few days, so ill update then.

check out www.leatherrenew.com

haven't tried anything yet, but I'm thinking about getting a kit to touch up my beige leather.

cool i need to fix a few small little holes in my leather too,

but how do i tell if it's beige or tan haven't been able to figure it out, i know the DP0 is the exterior color, but what about interior leather???

thanks for any help.

btw i used soft scrub to clean it and then meguiar's gold cleaner/conditioner and it looks very very nice, takes a while though.

you can send a small sample of your leather into them and they will match the color for you. I had asked them about that previously.

I just need to find a spot under the seat somewhere to cut a sample.

Contact them through their web page and they'll respond pretty quickly.
