help with BOMZ intake!
ok so i got my intake in yesterday and me and some friends tried to install it...removed stock air filter and that was easy and then we just got confused. and figured wed have to cut through stuff..honestly..i know happyricefob (sp) has this intake...but does anyone know of a write up or anything cuz we couldnt figure it out..so we just basically put everything back and i have the cone filter on though...and it gives a nice sound..is that safe..like we put the bottom of the box back and instead just hooked up the cone filter and its just sitting there..is that safe? oh yeah about the write up too..if there is already one written

From all the pics I've seen it doesn't look too difficult to install. Remove everything up to throttle body. Attached intake to throttle body, attach MAS to intake, and then filter to MAS. Make sure all hoses are connected and all clamps tight. Nothing needs to be cut.

A hole needs cut through the inner fender, and the filter sits behind where the foglight mounts.
Here are some instructions from another .org member on how to install a Price Racing unit... which is pretty much the exact same thing as the Bomz. You just have to 'eyeball' the position of the hole, since the Bomz unit does not come with instructions.

Good Luck!
