Engine Advice>> Idle Problems

I’m looking for someone’s good advice! I know you all have been good in the past to give great input.

I have been stalling out a lot. I have noticed it’s mostly when I go into neutral or to a stop the idle drops quickly. When I try to prevent it from stalling out, I basically have to keep my foot on the gas and pump it to keep it alive. If it does stall I can restart or pop the clutch, 9 times out of 10 it just stalls out again... I have noticed when I am driving there is sometimes a kick or a chatter like its either A. getting too much air or b. not enough. I used to have high idle problems now it’s a low idle I am guessing from weather temperature changes. Last night when I was doing my fuel filter, I pulled my car in the garage, shut it off and it sounded as if there was a leak of air it was kinda high pitched.

If anyone can give me any tips, tricks, advice...on what I should look for while digging in my engine trying to locate the problem or source. I would be forever grateful!
Thanks so much guys!

do you have an aftermarket intake? try

A) checking the IACV hose that goes to your stock/aftermarket intake setup

B) clean your throttle body

C) clean your IACV valve

This may be a stupid question, but how do you clean the IACV.. I know the first step is to remove it from the car..... lol
