Oil Filters

Hey guys. I was wondering what oil filters you use when you change the oil? It is best to get a nissan oil filter instead of a FRAM?

NEVER use a fram oil filter on your Max. Use Nissan #15208-9E000 oil filter. Nissan filter costs like $4.00. Can't go wrong with that.

Inside an OEM Nissan Maxima oil filter. Nissan filter vs. Fram click on the link to see why OEM is better.

call up greg @ Mossy Nissan and have him ship em. I'd say you get 6+ of them so shipping cost won't seem to cost as much. I THINK it was $4.34 (or something in the $4 range) for each oil filter + $6 shipping. I also bought a rear brake hardware kit. Oh yeah, you also get 10% discount for being a maxima.org member.
