Wheel Problem?

Today, my buddy and I put my new 2002 Maxima rims on my 97 Maxima. He jacked the car up, and I switched them off. After I left for work after the rims were on, my dad noticed 8 ball-bearings in the driveway in a little group. He called me and asked me how the ride to work felt. I told him that it was smooth. My question is, Where under my car could there be ball-bearings? I don't think anything fell off while changing the wheels. Please HELP!!!!

There are no ball bearings exposed when you take the wheel off.

Take a look at the wheels on the jack, bet you'll find where the ball bearings came from.

Ok. Thanks for the advice. I'll take a look! There are no other places that they could have come from? Thanks again!

Nope. That's odd. When you remove the wheels, there are no bearing assemblies exposed at all. My guess is they came from somewhere other than your car.

My mind is at ease. I'm at work, and my dad just called and said that it was from his jack! Everything is beautiful. Polished 2002 rims look like a dream on my car! Thanks!

Wow!

Nice call!!!

I would have thought it obviously wasn't his wheels, but I wouldn't have thought about the jack!
