well, hmmm... the check engine ligth visit me again. this time with 9L 8S and 3L 4S. Retrieve the code and it's the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor and the Knock Sensor. Does every sensors gone bad will triggle the Knock sensor coding???
How hard to change/replace the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor at? Where it at?

Does O2 sensor always got the come on and go most of the time? I replace the rear 02 sensor, 3 weeks later the front 02 come on and stay for a few week and it gone, i did nothing to it and it's gone(weird), around 3 week later, the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor visit me... WTF???

The Max got 138k miles on it btw. On this kind of miles, what should I replace b4 anything come apart? I already replace the rear 02, front and rear brakes, and the stereo that about it.

Whenever I start the Max, I notice some noice coming from the front sound like chain, timming chain need replacement? Maybe it's about time to replace the muffler too.

Any input will be appreciated.

yea i have the same problem with the coolant temp. sensor and the timing chain. the engine coolant temp. sensor was like $11.00 real easy to change. and your timing chain sound like you just need to put a new tensioner on haven't done that yet but it doesn't look to hard. good luck
