Maxes with Stillen AeroKit
All you guys with the Stillen Aerokit, how much did you pay to get the Kit color matched? Particularly those of you with Pearl White since I hear its a little harder for them to get a paint match so they charge more. I am about to get one hopefully soon so I want to know how much money I should budget for the paint process. If your price included and install let me know that too. I plan to install it myself with the help of a friend though.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I went through TowerPaint.com
Cost about $20 if I remember correctly for two cans (base coat and the pearl coat). I just have the lip, but I have about 60% left in the base can and 80% in the pearl can. It doesn't take too much to paint the lip. I originally bought the lip used pre-painted arctic white, but the paint was pretty chipped and cracked. I wet sanded the paint smooth and used some touch up paint (didn't really match too well...but from 10 feet away, who knew). I installed it on my Maxima and got use to driveways, parking bumps, etc.
After about 2 months, I decided to try and paint it myself. I removed the old paint, used a gray primer...but then found a can of white primer in my garage. This primer matched the my 97 Pearl White pretty well. Sanded down the primer and applied about 3 coats of the base coat. The pearl coat was pretty tricky. It doesn't take a lot of the pearl coat to match the rest of the car.
It's been about a year, and I have a few chips here and there, but it's held up well. I only wish that towerpaint used a flex agent in their paint like paintscratch.com, but I'm happy.
